We provide Moms and care givers with the means to connect to each other & resources throughout the Calgary area. 

Our Story 

CalgaryPlayGroups.com was created by a new mother who struggled with Post Partum Depression.

On maternity leave and at a different stage in life than friends and co-workers she found it difficult to reach out and meet other new mothers. She was sure that she was not alone in feeling inadequate, isolated, overwhelmed and in desperate need to connect with others going through the same life changes.

Determined to help other mothers she created CalgaryPlayGroups; A free, easy to use community building site that helps mothers living in the same community connect with each other.

Since the creation of CalgaryPlayGroups.com several playgroups have formed and are still running today. New playgroups are created on a regular basis.

New mothers who met through CalgaryPlayGroups.com have formed lifelong friendships and have been a valuable support systems for each other and their children.

To view the PlayGroups forum simply register (if you haven't already done so) and sign in.

Are there membership fees to pay?

Absolutely not! Our goal is to help as many Mothers as possible. We strongly believe that all Mothers should have free access to resources such as the ones we provide.
